We had the priviledge of enjoying a lovely weekend full of summer's harvest. From picking the fruit off my dad's trees--thanks, Dad!--to visiting our local CSA farm's open house, to canning salsa for the first time (yay!), we feel blessed to enjoy the simple pleasures all around us.
This looks like a wonderful way to spend a weekend! I can't wait till Friday now, we are going to Wenatchee to pick apples and pears and then make apple butter, and can pears!
ReplyDeleteoh, that sounds lovely. you should stop by the Applets and Cotlets factory, too. or maybe that's in Cashmere?
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to see new posts!
