indoor garden experiment

Inspired by some old Mother Earth News articles I read a few weeks ago, and missing the freshness of the CSA share we had over the summer, I decided to attempt growing some potted greens in my windowsill. Being that I am crazy busy with small children, online schooling, and taking care of most everything at home while my husband busily works his booty off at two jobs, I was not motivated to get any special equipment meant for indoor growing. Instead, I simply threw some seeds into the potting soil and tossed the pots in the windowsill. A week and a half later, this is what happened. Hopefully they'll keep growing so we can enjoy the deliciousness of spinach and bak choy in the wintertime. Yay!

I'll let you know if it works. :)
